Jeremy Browne

Jeremy is a civil litigation lawyer practising in Whangarei where he lives with his wife and children.

With the exception of a year’s break, Jeremy has been a trustee of the Tai Tokerau Emergency Housing Charitable Trust since 2009.

He considers it a privilege to “love God” and “love his neighbour” by serving on the board to help the trust make a difference to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

Heather Campbell

Originally from the Hutt Valley, Heather has called Whangārei home for over 30 years.  She has been a dedicated board member of the Tai Tokerau Emergency Housing Charitable Trust since 2020 and has served as Chairperson since 2023.  A registered social worker with Te Whatu Ora, Heather works across both inpatient wards and community settings, supporting some of the most vulnerable members of the community.  Her frontline experience with homelessness and housing insecurity generated a strong interest in being part of the solution through governance and advocacy.

Corrina Davis

I’ve been closely involved with Tai Tokerau Emergency Housing Charitable Trust since its inception, and remain deeply committed to its mission. During my time as a Project Manager with Housing New Zealand, I helped expand the emergency housing portfolio to better serve Whangārei hapori, ensuring more responsive and culturally grounded support for those in need.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve worked extensively in the social housing sector, contributing to national programmes and supporting the delivery of the first two Māori Housing Partnership loans in Te Tai Tokerau. My broader career spans eight years in the healthcare sector and three in education, reflecting a strong foundation in community-focused service delivery.

It’s a privilege to serve as a Board member for Tai Tokerau Emergency Housing Charitable Trust, an organisation that not only provides essential services, but does so with compassion, integrity, and a deep respect for the communities it serves.

Ian Hartley-Dade

Ian has been a trustee of the Tai Tokerau Emergency Housing Charitable Trust since 2022. Originally from the UK, Ian spent over a decade working in housing and social care, including managing services for people experiencing homelessness, family violence, and mental health challenges. Since moving to New Zealand, he has held senior roles in public health system and is now Director of an innovative healthcare company. Ian is passionate about equity and inclusion, and his commitment to working alongside communities shapes his approach to supporting housing solutions across Tai Tokerau. He considers it a privilege to serve the community in Whangārei, which he now proudly calls home

Bill Mallett

Bill Mallett is a retired chartered accountant having retired from practice in 2016 after 34 years in private practice in Whangarei.

Bill joined the Tai Tokerau Emergency Housing Charitable Trust in 2020 and takes responsibility for overseeing the monthly and annual financial statements.

Alongside his work with TTEHCT, Bill serves on several other not for profit boards in the Whangarei area.

When not attending to those duties he is usually cycling or spending time at the family Bach at Whangarei Heads.
